Today has been a hard day here at Poppy's. The very gorgeous Jemima was helped to rainbow bridge this morning with her amazing foster mum Alison by her side as she had today shown that she was ready to leave for the next adventure.
Jemima came to us at 14 years young last November in a terrible state of malnutrition and with large infected abscesses in her mouth which were preventing her from eating.
Alison nursed Jemima back to the best health possible following such neglect and she enjoyed living as part of the family at Peppas place for six months. Sadly today her closely monitored health took a turn and she was visibly uncomfortable. A discussion with our dartford vets confirmed she was ready to leave to join poppy, Sybil and all her friends.
We never put an animal to sleep unless it's 100% medically necessary and Jemima had enjoyed probably some of the best months of her life living like the queen bee she was smile emoticon our thoughts go out to her amazing foster mum Alison, thank you for caring for our gorgeous dribbley girl.
